About the role
As the Head of the School of Nursing and Public Health, you will play a pivotal role in leading one of our flagship schools. Ideally a professor with a distinguished track record in research and/or teaching and pedagogy, you will be an inspiring and visionary leader with a well-established professional network. Working collaboratively as a member of the Faculty Leadership Team, you will guide the School in pursuing an ambitious strategy for academic excellence, driving innovation, and extending our impact nationally and internationally. A core focus on diversity and inclusion is embedded within the School’s activities, and you will champion this ethos as you shape the future of the School.

This is a high-profile appointment which presents a unique opportunity for a motivated, and collaborative leader to help define the next phase of the School’s journey. You will forge new partnerships, enhance the School’s academic reputation, and ensure the delivery of world-class educational and research outcomes. You will be a strong strategic thinker, with passion for research-informed nurse and public health education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
