Contract type Part time: 3 days per week, 6 month contract
The Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a research assistant in bioengineering to work on an exciting research project examining the effects of ophthalmic viscosurgical devices on human corneal endothelial cell health. This Research Assistant position will contribute to the CLEAR-VUE project within the Institute for Bioengineering at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences and Medical Research Council’s Impact Acceleration Accounts and in collaboration with colleagues at Hyaltech.
The position offers an opportunity to work closely with Dr Rhiannon Grant at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Bioengineering, a leading academic innovation hub combining a strong interdisciplinary research culture, an unrivalled focus on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and an emphasis on state-of-the-art research and real-world impacts.
